If you want to study a PhD in Mechanical Engineering course, it will take you around 3 to 5 years to complete the entire coursework, as it involves in-depth research on a particular topic, including field visits and project work. You need to submit a final thesis at the end of the course duration that is backed by original findings. The duration of a PhD in Mechanical Engg. will differ on the basis of the research topic chosen by the students.

No, direct admissions are not given in the BTech course. The admissions at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology are given on the basis of merit. The students must fill the application form within the deadline from the college website.
