There are about 20+ NIT colleges in India accepting JEE Main score. Of these,  20 colleges are owned by public/government organisations, and 2 colleges are privately owned. JEE Main is the most accepting entrance exams in top NITs in India. Cambridge Institute of Technology offers two M.Tech courses, CSE and VLSI Design & Embedded Systems. The admission criteria for both courses is the same. To get admission, students must visit the institute's official website and register themselves. At the time of application, they are required to submit a valid national-level entrance test score.

At the Cambridge Institute of Technology Bangalore, a very limited number of M.Tech seats are available. In total, the institute offers only 36 seats. Out of these 36, 18 seats are allocated to M.Tech in the CSE course, and 18 seats are allocated to MTehc in the VLSI Design and Embedded Systems course. It is important to note that the aforementioned seat intake is as per official sources. However, it is subject to change.

Cambridge Institute of Technology grants M.Tech admission to students with a valid GATE score. Thus, students aspiring to take admission can register and appear for the GATE exam. As per official sources, the GATE schedule for the 2026 session is out. As per the schedule, the exam is scheduled to be held from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026 and Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.
