In order to pursue M.Tech from Cambridge Institute of Technology, students are required to pay a total fee of INR 5.6 lakh. This amount comprises two major fee elements, tuition fees and hostel fees. Students enrolled in the Cambridge Institute of Technology Bangalore M.Tech programme are eligible for scholarships and the fee waiver scheme offered by UGC. The scholarships are provided to support meritorious and economically weak students. Some of these scholarships are Commonwealth Scholarships, Postgraduate Scholarships for Professional Courses for SC/ST Candidates, etc. 

CIT offers a full-time MTech programme with limited number of seats. Check below for the steps of the admission process:

2. If eligible, visit the institute's official website and fill the application form for MTech.

3. Check regularly for the merit list. Participate in the counselling process, if shortlisted.

4. If allocated a seat, report to the institute for verification of documents and payment of fees.

At the Cambridge Institute of Technology Bangalore, a very limited number of M.Tech seats are available. In total, the institute offers only 36 seats. Out of these 36, 18 seats are allocated to M.Tech in the CSE course, and 18 seats are allocated to MTehc in the VLSI Design and Embedded Systems course. It is important to note that the aforementioned seat intake is as per official sources. However, it is subject to change.

Cambridge Institute of Technology grants M.Tech admission to students with a valid GATE score. Thus, students aspiring to take admission can register and appear for the GATE exam. As per official sources, the GATE schedule for the 2026 session is out. As per the schedule, the exam is scheduled to be held from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026 and Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.
