Cambridge Institute of Technology offers MCA admission to students with a valid GATE score. Thus, candidates seeking admission can register and appear for the GATE exam. As per official sources, the GATE exam date for the 2025 session is out. The exam is scheduled to be held from Feb 1 to Feb 16, 2025.

If we look at the tuition fee of VIT Pune and SIT Pune for the M.Tech programme, the tuition fee of VIT Pune is more affordable than SIT Pune. M.Tech tuition fee at VIT Pune in the range of INR 3 Lacs - 6 Lacs whereas VIT Pune has a tuition fee of INR 1.5 lakh. Both colleges offer M.Tech programmes through GATE & MHTCET entrance exams. Candidates should make their decision accordingly.

SIT Pune M.Tech programme is two years long. The programme follows a semester model which means the course material is spread over four semesters. Each semester students have to choose general electives and in the last semester students have to appear for seminars and internship. They can also do internships during the mid semester break. Therefore, the two year long programme has multiple components in its curriculum.

The last date to fill the AMIE 2025 Summer exam application was January 28, 2026. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling application form. You can surely get admission through lateral entry after you complete your 3 year Diploma in BME or a related field. There are many colleges that offer this facility where you can directly enter the 2nd academic year of BTech BME course. You should have at least 50% marks in your Diploma final exams and clear relevant lateral entry admission tests.
