Yes, it is difficult to get a seat in Utkal University M.Tech as their is only one round of selections for very few seats. Utkal University M.Tech admissions take place through the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE). If a candidate has a valid OJEE score they are eligible to apply for admission in the M.Tech programme.
The OJEE exam is not as tough as other national-level entrance exams in the country, but since the university only offers 40 seats in the programme the competition is way higher than other exams. Thus, it is difficult to get into Utkal University MTech.

Utkal University offers 40 M.Tech seats at the university. As the university offers only M.Tech in Information Technology, candidates will only be able to get seats in that specialisation. Due to the seats being less, the competition to get into Utkal University M.Tech is quite high. Therefore, candidates should prepare accordingly for the entrance exam and subsequent admission formalities.
