Mewar University's BTech admission is open now. However, the university has not released any admission dates. Since admission to the BTech course is subject to a valid score in the CUET or JEE Main, candidates must refer to the entrance exam dates.

Indeed, entrance exams are frequently required for admission to programs in geological engineering, particularly at reputable universities. For admission to geological engineering programs, Indian universities and engineering institutes may administer their entrance tests or accept national-level examinations. For instance, to be admitted to their B.Tech programs—which may involve geological or related engineering branches—prestigious universities such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) require applicants to pass the JEE Advanced or JEE Main exams.

According to the yearly cutoff trends, an OBC student seeking admission to Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) Surat's Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch must get a certain number of JEE Main points. To get a place in CSE under the other state quota, an OBC student normally needs to score in the 94–96 JEE Main percentile or better. Approximately 150 to 180 marks would be earned for this, depending on how difficult the test was. Home-state candidates may have somewhat lower cutoffs. It is essential to keep a high rank because CSE is one of the most sought-after branches.

GIET Engineering College offers M.Tech course based on GATE scores. As per the GATE last-round cut off, the closing ranks needed to get into the only available course, which is M.Tech in VLSI And Embedded Systems, stood at 355. So, 350 is so close to the cutoff but still you won't be able to get the admission at GIET Engineering College.
