The Nuclear Engineering course duration is different based on the course level. If you are studying a UG course in Nuclear Engineering, it will span 8 semesters that will take 4 years to complete. If you plan to go for a PG Nuclear Engineering course, you need to give 2 years for the same, where the focus will be on research in the nuclear sector and will give you a deep understanding of the field. To be eligible for the BTech in SRM TRP Engineering College candidates must atleast have a minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as prescribed by the Govt of Tamil Nadu. Also, the actual cutoff percentage required for admission to get into SRM TRP Engineering College changes from year to year and depends on the branch of engineering you want to study.

The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions TNEA process is used to place candidates at various engineering colleges throughout the state of Tamil Nadu.
