MAKAUT offers BTech programme across two specialisations at the university campus. However, there are more than 20 BTech specialisations available at the affiliated colleges of MAKAUT. Some of the affiliated Engineering colleges under MAKAUT include Asansol Engineering College, NSHM Institute of Engineering and Technology, among others.

No, MAKAUT considers WBJEE for regular admission to BTech programme and JELET (conducted by WBJEEB) for admission to lateral entry programme. Other than above mentioned exams, the official website does not mention any other source of admission. Students are advised to check with the admissions office of the college.
