This college is good and provides helpful teachers and average placements.
Placements: Around 20% of students were placed in the core sector. Rest 20-30% of students were placed in the IT sector. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Atlas Copco, Mahindra group, etc. Students had to find internships on their own.
Infrastructure: All facilities were available in this college. The laboratories were well-equipped with the resources required. It was clean and hygienic. The playground was not available and very few facilities for sports. The mess food was average. There were no medical facilities in this college. The campus was on the outskirts of the main city so there were some transportation issues. The library was good and students were allowed to sit till 11.00 PM.
Faculty: Teaching was good, helpful, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum focused more on theoretical knowledge and less focus on the application part. The semester exams were moderate level, and the pass percentage was 90-95%.
Other: The cultural fest Sinhgad Karandak was considered amongst the best in Pune. There were centralised placements that occur on the main campus.

Colleges of Sinhgad are best to hang out and not for learning. Placements are not good.
Placements: Out of 300 students in the previous year, only 30 to 40 students got placed from college. Top recruiting companies that visited our campus were Mahindra, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Atlas Copco, and John Deere. Only 6 students got internships through the college. I got internship by applying on my own in IIT Bombay. Top roles offered were design engineer, quality engineer, and purchase engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good when compared to other colleges nearby. It is located outside Pune. Wi-Fi was not directly available to students. You have to be in any clubs which are available to join on campus. Hostel and mess were combined, and they charged Rs. 55,000. The mess was compulsory, which was disgusting. Nobody eats there. Sibar canteen was the best place to eat with your own money. For games, we had a football court and basketball court. Grounds were well maintained.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful only if you treat them like they are your boss and say yes to what they ask you to do. Teaching quality is not good now. Half of the staff left the college as the institute did not pay salaries to teachers for 12 months. The course curriculum for mechanical should be advanced for the upcoming EV industry. And 2rd, 3rd year should include a choice subject which will benefit students practically for getting a job. Mechanical engineer does not know how to work in a company when they graduate. College should provide compulsory industrial training.
Other: I chose this course because I liked the field. I was interested in robotics. The best thing about our course is that it helped me to be in Robocon, which was held every year in India. Every aspect should be improved for mechanical engineering. A graduate should be industry ready after passing out. College fests were the best way to express other skills in which you can participate after 1st year. Connectivity was the main issue about the college. Scholarships were merit-based and given by the government and not college. The college did not fully support extracurricular activities. You are on your own for that. Organize your events by your money or find some companies which will sponsor you.

The college is not good enough in all aspects.
Placements: Placements for the mechanical students were too low, but the companies like Accenture and TCS recruit students, but most of the students have to give interview off-campus or to do extra classes like CAD software.
Infrastructure: Our engineering campus is too small compared to other courses like MBA, MCA etc. There is a Wi-Fi facility which may work, but other facilities like grounds are small, and the equipment was not enough. There is no gym facility, and the library is good compared to others.
Faculty: Faculty members for the mechanical branch are very bad except one or two teachers. They don't carry practicals either.
Other: Mechanical is better than any other branch in our college, so I have chosen this course. There is no freshers party for newcomers. College doesn't hold any extra activities. They don't allow the first-year students to take part in events in other colleges.

College with full of fun but teaching quality is not up to the mark.
Placements: The placements for mechanical engineers is good. Last year 35 students got letters from various companies. The average package for mechanical engineers from Sinhagad Academy is around 3.5 lacs/ year which will be a great start. Many students got their placements call from Bajaj itself.
Infrastructure: Sinhgad Academy is situated somewhat in a remote place from the main city at Kondhwa. The infrastructure is good, and also new technologies has been set up. A huge 4 floors building has approximately 80 classes (including labs) and is ready to give better comfort to students. There is also a separate building for mechanical department containing workshops, various machinery labs etc. Wi-Fi is available in the main building.
Faculty: All the teachers, who support students are helpful except some teachers, but the quality of teachers are not up to the mark, due to salary problem many qualified and experienced teachers gave their resignation. Due to this new and inexperienced staff, we can't have the required level of teaching. Student to faculty ratio is roughly 60:1.
Other: One of the best and popular events called Sinhgad Karandak which is conducted in January each year. Many popular singers and performers from various countries came to perform in Karandak. Campus surrounding is full of mess and stationeries. Team Forza racing and team Vamos racing is the foundation of this college by participating and winning in Baja and supra respectively.

Somewhat disappointing to the expectations of the experience.
Placements: Mass recruiting companies recruiters most of the students who are capable of cracking their respective stages like aptitude, HR interview, etc. The chances of getting placed in core companies are less than enough as eligibility criteria are hard for most of the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not quite well-developed as finding respective areas is somewhat difficult to the first person. The institute didn't provide provisions for most of the sports. Engineering departments are in floors of one big building which seems somewhat disappointing.
Faculty: The faculty members are really co-operative to the students and also well-knowledgeable. Most of the faculty finds difficulty in teaching subjects in English. The course curriculum is not well-designed in perspective of the student, and it is hectic and exhausting. Institute fails in terms of quality training, student communication, and giving practical knowledge.
Other: Fests and events are the main highlight of curriculum and very interesting if you're up for it. Institute surrounding is the worst in every aspect. Scholarship department isn't somewhat co-operative as an extra load of it is on respective members. The campus crowd is awesome, very helpful, mannered, etc. The extracurricular activities are less in quantity. It totally depends upon student how much he/she indulge in it. The connectivity to main areas is poor in terms of transportation.
