It is not compulsory to give an entrance exam for admission to the BTech Marine Engineering course admission. A lot of colleges admit students to the course considering their Class 12 marks in the board exams. Having said that, very many popular BTech Marine Engineering colleges in India strictly consider the marks in entrance exams like IMU-CET, JEE Main, AP EAMCET, etc.

So, you should check for the admission process that is followed at your preferred college and then prepare yourself accordingly. You can do this either by visiting their official website or calling at the admission helpdesk number.

Next step for you to follow is to fill out the college application forms before their application window closes. Once the exam results are out and you've got your result, you must apply for the counseling process that usually takes place at most of the colleges for seat allotment purpose. A

The B Tech Marine Engineering course deals with the design, operation, and maintenance of propulsion systems in maritime vessels and other floating structures. Marine engineers require a broad knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering to be able to be successful in this field.

BTech Marine Engineering graduates have to bring together their understanding of fluid mechanics, materials design, power generation, and computer architecture taught in the classes to build and maintain structures that are totally independent from the resources available on land.
