Hi,

'Yes, with an 86% score in JEE and belonging to the EWS category, you stand a good chance of getting a seat in the CSE branch at MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur, as the cutoff is around 85 percentile'.

'MBM University follows state government policies for admission, offering horizontal reservations for girls (25%), PWD (5%), and ex-servicemen (3%)'.

Admissions are conducted through REAP based on JEE Mains performance and/or 12th marks, with no management quota.

To be eligible, you must have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.

The NIT Meghalaya M.Tech course admission is subject to the fulfilment of eligibility and selection criteria. As per official sources, to be eligible, candidates must have passed a BE/BTech degree in a relevant discipline with a 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% aggregate for Gen/Gen-EWS/OBC, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

If you have made a spelling error in your father's name, it can be correct from the official website of the examination authority in the correction period from the correction window. But as you have mentioned that, you are asking to correct it in the counselling process, it may be difficult for you. If the correction period is over, you need to contact the authorities and you  can contact the NTA helpline number between 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM.

Some of the specialisations are Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.
