The colleges can be compared on different parameters and the ranking will differ as per the weight age given to each of the parameters. The parameters could be the academic excellence of the teachers, papers published by the teachers, cutoffs of the students who are admitted, placements of the students, number of recruiters who are called to the college, these and many more. Hello Suyash, this dilemma is being faced by many students who are now faced with giving choice of college in which they want to take admission in the counselling process of MHT CET. However different colleges could be rank differently based on the parameters and the value assigned to each parameter. These parameters could be the academic excellence of the teachers, facilities provided to the students, placement record of the students, research paper published by the college, innovations and arandi shown by the college. Hello N Venkatesh, you will be completing your graduation in engineering shortly and are desirous of knowing what to do in future. Correct? There are plenty of avenues open for a graduate engineer. You can think of joining armed forces. You can think of giving civil services examination. You can think of giving GATE for doing your post graduation in engineering. You can think of doing MBA. The whole world is open for you to conquer. However the most important thing is what you feel? Ask yourself this question think over it. Do you want to get employed immediately to gain vital work experience for say, couple of years? Then you should ask yourself whether you will like to become a technocrat for you will like it too be a generalist and then join management team of a company after doing your MBA. Hello Wasim, many students like you who have completed their Diploma and are now working in some company are desirous of doing their graduation by way of distance education in the field of engineering. I am afraid that such fish is not possible presently. UGC has prohibited all universities from offering any professional course by way of distance education and as a result no university can offer such a course. However being in employment and having completed Diploma you have another method of securing graduation in engineering. I would like to advise you to go in for AMIE. Once you obtain this certification by appearing for exams then it is considered as equivalent to graduation in engineering for all purposes. Best wishes to you.
