Hello Prachi, it's nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing graduation in engineering after completion of your 12th. For getting admission in IIT or NIT you must ensure that you score at least 75% in 12th. There are plenty of engineering colleges in Maharashtra which offer multitude of courses. It's quite mind boggling. I would hence like to advise you to think again and ponder as to what you like best. Do not opt for engineering due to peer pressure. A student can make career in any subject. I am saying this since as per one report of Maharashtra, almost 50% of fresh engineering graduates could not find placements. Best wishes to you.

Here I would like to advise you to first clean state as to what you are doing at the moment. Meaning have you passed your 12th? Are you awaiting admission in engineering College via MHT CET. Are you interested in chemical engineering in Maharashtra? Are you interested in colleges with fees of rupees 100000 either here or for 4 years course?
