Hello Sania, yes for engineering in biotechnology mathematics is not the subject that is compulsory but biology is, in your 12th standard. Having said this, you also need to clear the qualifying entrance exam that college or your state specifies for seeking admission. Best wishes to you.

Hello Veluri, once upon a time fees in engineering colleges particularly government ones where very low. On top of it scholarships for deserving candidates used to make this education completely free. But things have changed now. In many government colleges fees are as much as private engineering colleges. Some private colleges do offer scholarships ranging from 100 % to 10% of the fees depending on the marks obtained by the student. But there is no standard ruling for this and you need to find this out from college to college based on their websites. Best wishes to you.

Hello Vishal, admissions in college of engineering Pune are given based on the performance in the entrance exam conducted by the Maharashtra government called MHT CET. For XII class, you need only obtain minimum passing score and admission is actually not based on marks obtained in this examination. Few seats are reserved for what is called as all India quota, which are filled up based on JEE Mains examination. Cutoff for both these entrance exams changes from year to year and hence it is of no relevance to know it now.
