There are two ways for getting B.Tech admission in COEP Pune. The first one is MHT CET and JEE Main is another one. The major admission in B.E. Courses in COEP are based on MHT CET conducted by State common entrance cell Maharashtra. As per the eligibility criteria, candidate has passed 12th with PCM with minimum 50% of marks if subjects taken together for general category. In most of the engineering colleges, the change in branch is permissible. So you can change your engineering branch. Every college have their own criteria of CGPA required for change in branch. So its better to asked to college regarding this. However generally students having CGPA above 7.5 are eligible to apply for change in branch.
