There is no effect of stream on the placements, equal opportunities are being provided to all. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of their students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. BE COMPUTER ENGINEERING ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
A candidate must hold a graduate/post graduate degree with a minimum of 10+2 years of formal education with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognized university/institute.
Candidates, who are in the final year, are also eligible to apply provided they complete their formal education.
The candidates must be a minimum of 17 years of age or above. However, the maximum age is set to be 23 years.
Candidates should have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination recognized by AICTE and State Government in Physics and Mathematics subjects along with Chemistry / Electronics / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study.
Students must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC).
The colleges which accept admission through JEE Main follow the eligibility criteria set by the JEE authority.
For being eligible for JEE Main, a candidate must secure minimum 75% aggregate marks at the 10+2 level.
For the other colleges, which may not consider JEE Main Score, the minimum required aggregate marks ranges between 50% - 65%. However, one must note that the eligibility criteria for BE Computer Engineering varies from college to college.
BE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING ELIGIBILITY CRITERA:
To apply for any of the engineering colleges, the candidates should fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria.
The candidate should have completed class 12th from a recognized board.
The candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in class 12th.
They should have scored at least 60% marks in class 12th. Some relaxation is provided to the reserved categories usually by government institutes.

Hello Sakthivel, It's Indeed nice to know that you have completed your Diploma in electronics and communication and now you are interested in doing your graduation in engineering. I would strongly recommend that you should not go for distance education for this. This is so sense professional courses were debarred to be offered via distance education method. However there is one of the rise method available for you to obtain this qualification. Please going for AMIE certification. This is equivalent to graduation for all practical purposes and also for announcement in job and also for getting admission for postgraduate studies in engineering. Best wishes to you.

Hello Ashok, of course you are eligible. Universities for establishments in USA are not too fussy for students continuing their education from graduation to Masters in continuation. As a matter of fact in that country itself it's the in thing to do some job to get practical experience after graduation and then only finance your way into post graduation studies. In view of this I would strongly recommend that you should approach an agency which is dealing with sending students to USA for their post graduation studies since they would be knowing different formats and different areas of focus that a student should have in his CV for a successful attempt at getting admission.
