Target lower-ranked NITs, state government engineering colleges, or private engineering colleges for your ranks rather that top NITs or old IIITs. Prioritize checking recent cutoffs for these institutes for final decision.

With this rank of 3700 in EWS, you can not get ECE in NIT calicut by any means. You can get civil or mining or even chemical engineering easily. you can get ECE in other NITs but not in Calicut .

With 85.6 percentile (JEE Mains CRL 2.12Lakhs) you can expect Mechanical, Civil, Mining and even there are some chances of Electrical based on General home state quota in MBM Jodhpur. For ECE chances are very low but you can try once.

Your category rank, which represents your place within your particular reservation category, should be your primary tool for predicting your college options in JEE Main. Some seats are distributed based on CRL, particularly after all category seats are filled, so it's also very important to take your CRL (Common Rank List) or All India Rank (AIR) into account during the actual JoSAA/CSAB counseling.

Government Colleges (GCOEs):

  1. GCOE Amravati, Widely regarded as a solid choice, with prospects for a number of core fields, including information technology.
  2. Another excellent choice that may be accessible in all branches is GCOE Awasari Khurd (Pune).
  3. GCOE Jalgaon, A respectable choice with a solid reputation.
  4. GCOE Nagpur, A good option that usually offers all branches.
  5. Another good choice in the network of government colleges is GCOE Yavatmal.
  6. Like Yavatmal, GCOE Chandrapur is a worthwhile choice.

No, you can not get into NIT or IIIT or GFTI with 346529 rank in JEE in EWS Category. You can search for other private colleges  and state government colleges based on 12th score card or direct admissions in your state or other state.
