No, you cannot do M.Tech on the basis of BCA. The eligibility criteria of M.Tech is a Bachelor degree in Technology in relevant discipline or M.Sc. Degree in Science/Maths/ Statistics/ Computer application. Further, GATE is a mandatory requirement for doing M.Tech.

Hello SP Tripathy,
It's very nice to see your enthusiasm to study and acquire PG in engineering. You are preferring part time which indicates that you are working. Thus you would be needing admission only in a college at your place of work. In view of this I would like to advise you that please approach colleges in your place by telephone to know if they are offering this facility. Best wishes to you.

Computer Science is best according to me because in this field, scope is high and it is also a very interesting field to learn about computer programmes and many more related to computers. Also, it depends on your interest. If you are interested in computer science then you must choose this field.

You can go to any private college you want but the thing is that you have to work hard to get better knowledge. Also, you can drop for 1 year and give the main exam again to improve your percentile in order to get an NIT or IIT.

Hello Tanuja Madam, It's very nice to see that you are interested in doing graduation in engineering after completion of your Diploma via lateral mode. Government college of engineering in Aurangabad is very well known and preferred by many students. As a result comparatively higher percentage in Diploma is required for admission here. Though I am afraid exact percentage of cutoffs last year is not available. Best wishes to you.

Hello Santanu,
It's very nice to see that you are interested in doing graduation in engineering via distance education mode. But I am afraid that this route is now stopped. UGC has issued instructions to all universities that no professional course should be offered via distance mode. Perhaps you can choose to do AMIE which is equivalent to graduation in engineering. Best wishes to you.
