Engineering is a costly course in the country. I doubt if there are scholarships available for the course because even the IITs don't provide for the same.

A GRE score above 315 should be targeted and a TOEFL of 90 to 100. It is better you check some university websites for the admission requirements, you will be able to prepare in a better way if you have a target and goal in mind. Different universities have different criteria.

KCET cut off is below 2000 ranking for computer science engg. It also depends upon the people choose for CS in our college. But the ranking has to be minimum for CS because NMIT has great reputation for CS since they provide 90% + campus placements and well equipped lecturers.

NMIT is a good college for many courses offered by them. Good placement assistance, good faculty members, good infrastructure, etc. They help us in assisting in achieving our goals in our career.

It is very difficult to find institutions that offer MS without giving any competitive exams. However, if you search enough you might find one. Recently I have come across a brilliant opportunity which I heard through a close relative of mine. JK Lakshmipat University situated in Jaipur is offering a very interesting programme that gives you an excellent opportunity to do MS at JKLU for one year and the second year in U Mass. Both the colleges are excellent for mechanical engineering. NMIT has good placement assistance and project guidance from top most level. NMIT have many lecturers to handle one particular subject itself. So both the colleges are pretty well in academics.
