Uttar Pradesh Textile Technology Institute (Earlier known as Government Central Textile Institute ) is a government institute of Textile. It was started in 1914. It provides a technical education in Textile field. There are both UG as well as PG courses available. This college provides a good opportunity to the students who have great interest in textile field and want to continue their career as textile Engineer. The placement rate is also very high. Nearly 100% students are placed every year with good package. The infrastructure is also above average. The faculty puts great efforts in order to enhance students learning. In my opinion, Food Technology would be covering a wider aspect. You will develop competence in areas like Food Process Engineering, Crop Processing Technology, Food Analysis and regulations, Plant and Animal biotechnology.
You need a pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying JEE Mains or the qualifying entrance test of a university. Like some universities have their own entrance exam like LPU, if you have not given JEEMains you can give LPUNest, the details of this test with the paper pattern is given on their website.
You can also give the other entrance exams like TANCET for taking admission in ANNA University.
