You can take admission, college is good, but you have to do hard work for placement in the CSE batch
Placements: I'm not sure about placement for my batch because I am a student of the first batch of CSE, which started in the 2024-25 season. However, according to past placement records, the college is very good for textile batches (Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Textile Chemistry, and Man-Made Fibre Technology).
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in hostels and on campus. A computer lab is also available, but it requires modification because too old systems are available and some systems are not working properly. Classrooms are good, and smartboards are also available in almost every classroom. The library is very good. The hostel is well-maintained, and a mess is also available. Mess charges for 2024-25 are 3400 per month, and if you have any genuine issue, you can leave the mess with the help of faculty members or the hostel warden; that money will be deducted from your mess charges.
Faculty: Faculty in our college is good and too supportive in any type of matter, with most faculty members being highly qualified. I have already said, CSE is a new branch in this college, so students have to work hard to get placed or internships, but if you are a little serious about studies, you can easily pass semester exams.
Other: Events are too limited and not very good, the college should work on this for students' overall development. And mostly, students get UP Scholarship.

Great infrastructure, good faculty members, and excellent placement record.
Placements: Around 95% of students get placed in my course. The highest package is around 18 lac per annum and the lowest package is 3.75 lac per annum offered in my course. Top recruiters are Trident, reliance, Vardhaman, etc. 100% of students get an internship from my course in the above-mentioned company. The top roles often are of course production manager, quality assistant, marketing merchandising, and many more.
Infrastructure: The department has Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a resourceful library. The hostel offers furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, and security. The hostel provides hygienic food and the canteen serves snacks. The medical facility includes a health center sports facilities in Indore and outdoor games with the gym.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, teaching quality is good with a mix of theory and practical, both curricula are relevant. They provide the internship and project. Semester exams are moderately tough but manageable with preparation. The pass percentage is generally around 90%.
Other: The course offers a practical learning experience. Faculty and industry input is needed for syllabus updates and increased exposure. The campus should prioritize clubs and sports while maintaining a pleasant environment. Good connectivity is essential, and protecting the surroundings supports students.

It is a very good college.
Placements: UPTTI provides a wide range of courses in textile and fiber technology course. It does not require a very high percentage in gate examination and it provides good placements. The average package is 5 LPA and the highest package is 40 LPA
Infrastructure: UPTTI does not have a very good infrastructure as the campus is very old which was built in the British Era. Hostels are quite good as they are not so old.
Faculty: College faculty members are average. As it is a government college, professors do not pay much attention to students. Courses are very good making students brighter in particular subjects. Semester exams are quite difficult and good. The college provides many courses ranging in the field of textile and have a very good future in jobs.
Other: I chose this college because in Kanpur, it is the best college for textile engineering. It is also very cheap compared to other government colleges.

12 LPA is the highest package, 3.5 LPA is the lowest and 6 LPA is the average package. Trident, Reliance, Raymond, GBTL, RSWM, Sintex yarn, Vardhman, Bhilosa, etc. are the top recruiters.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility, good infrastructure, classrooms are very clean and smart board are provided for lectures. The hostel is also good and the food quality is okay—not that good. The medical facility is nice.
There are some fun sports and game activities available for students to enjoy in their free time.
Faculty: The teachers at UPTTI are super knowledgeable and dedicated, providing top-notch education and guidance to students. They really make learning enjoyable and engaging. The textile engineering course at UPTTI is highly curriculum-relevant. I don't have any idea about placement, you will get maximum time for yourself and freedom on campus.
Placements: First of all, we don’t have any information regarding the placement of the CSE branch, since it was established only last year. We will get an idea about placements once our batch begins receiving job offers. I hope that the placement faculty and the HOD will reach out to companies. Regarding internships also we don't have any idea, but some students make the right efforts in securing off-campus internships.
Infrastructure: Our college, established in 1914, has some older buildings that are in disrepair, but many new buildings have been constructed. Classrooms are well-furnished with smart boards and comfortable seating arrangements. Wi-Fi is available 24/7 across the campus, and you will have access to all labs and libraries during working hours. Our college also has a small canteen, which is open to students during these hours. The hostel facilities are quite good compared to other state engineering colleges in UP. You are free to play any game at any time, although medical facilities could be better.
Faculty: Most faculty members are knowledgeable and have a strong command of their subjects. Many hold Ph.D. degrees from IIT Delhi and are well-known in their respective fields. You should also be aware that the knowledge gained during lectures can sometimes be minimal, so you’ll have to work hard on your own. You will have a substantial amount of free time at this college, allowing you to contribute to your personal development.
Other: The main thing for choosing this college is because this college is in the Main city and the feels are also not very high and you will get much and more time for yourself, in which you can do valuable work which will be impressive.
