I have seen many project managers who are simply Diploma holders but with experience they reach to higher designations and attain good salaries. Though, On the other hand, some of the Gulf employers and other UAE companies specifically demand for Degree holders in their job advertisements. So, certainly, you will like to think about aspect of increasing your qualification later on in your life. But that would be your decision (based on your own circumstances later on in your life). As a Diploma holder, you can sit in government competitive exams for Junior Engineers in almost every state of India and at national level.
