If 160 is your rank then you don't need to worry about colleges there are very much chances of getting your desired college. But if these are your marks out of 360 then your AIR would be in range of 6000 to 7000 which it's quite difficult for you to get desired college or even you desired Branch. You can still get IITs but branch will not be of your choice. While browsing I found out that according to Aakash Institute following are few colleges with their branches where you can get admission with this AIR

  1. IIT Madras Aerospace Engineering
  2. IIT Gandhinagar Mechanical or Electrical
  3. IIT Roorkee Civil or Arch.
  4. IIT BHU Chemical

For 2025, Adichunchanagiri University offers a total of 300 seats for its BTech / BE programme. These seats are distributed across various specialisations. Seat allocation is based on candidates' performance in the ACU entrance test, COMEDK UGET, or KCET. Students with higher ranks in these entrance exams have better chances of securing seat in their preferred specialisation.
