Although cutoff for BE is different for different categories and different branches.
As per the stats from Google in the year 2024 the rank for open category for the course of BE was near 91000 and in the year 2023 it was near 80000. But if we talk about BC category the cutoff of previous years was near 130000 and for the SC category it was 170000 in 2024 and 150000 in the year 2023

Candidates must earn at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST) in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics and one more subject in order to be considered for MIT ACSC's B.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning . Class 12 performance determines admissions, which are merit-based; after this eligibility threshold, there is no separate cutoff percentage.

For candidates in the General category, IIT Bombay's dual B.Tech + MBA program (through SJMSOM) requires a CAT score in the 90th percentile. The 2025 composite score cutoff for final admission was approximately 48.27 for males and 44.64 for females in the General/EWS category; OBC, SC, ST, and PWD candidates had lower thresholds.

PSGCT BTech admission is done through a single window counselling by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai and their norms. Additionally, for M.Tech admission, the single window counselling by Anna University Chennai is considered. Moreover, for selection, it is also important that the aspirants fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. Candidates can contact the admission office as well for more information.

No, Saintgits College of Engineering BTech admission is strictly granted on a merit-basis. For the management merit seats, the rank list is made based on marks in Physics and Mathematics in Class 12. The merit list for admission is prepared in order of merit through online counselling. Thus, the college does not provide direct admission in BTech courses.

IIT Bombay M.Tech admission is granted based on merit in GATE exam. Candidates seeking admission must have a valid score in the national-level entrance examination. The aspirants who meet the cutoff mark become eligible for the COAP counselling for seat allotment. If we talk about NIRF rankings of both of the institutions then both fall under the 100 to 151 rankings. When it comes to placements Nirma University has 100 percent placements with average package of 7lpa and highest package of 15lpa with top recruiters like Tata, Reliance and Adani. On the other hand if we talk about PDEU the placement percentage is 90 with average package of 7lpa and highest package of 40 lpa across all disciplines but if we talk about its mechanical engineering placements then it's average package is around 3.5 to 5.5 lpa while highest package around 8 to 10 lpa. With an low score in MHT CET you still have chance to get into government colleges if you come under SC/ST category, also on branch preferences you would still have an chance , also on further rounds the vacant seats will be filled with low score students.
