The detailed information about AMIE is given below. The eligibility criteria for AMIE is 10+2 with PCM with minimum 45% of aggregate marks or 3 years engineering Diploma course. Working Experience For AMIE : Working experience is needed while registering for AMIE (Section B). In AMIE (Section A), no experience is needed. Time Limit To Complete AMIE : 6 years for AMIE (Section A) (start from date of election) + 6 years for section B (start counting immediately after passing section A). Yes, you can take admission in Government Polytechnic for Diploma in Computer Engineering.
The minimum eligibility criteria for admission in this course is that candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with at least 35% marks in 10th standard and Candidates passing 10th standard from Maharashtra State Board must have Maths/Mathematics and Science & Technology as compulsory subjects.

Join the college, which you want to take admission amongst the two without worrying about the branch, because branch can be shuffled after joining the college also. Many students use to change the branch after joining the college as per their field of interest.

VASAVI College is also good, but in my opinion, LPU, SRM, SGVU are much better than VASAVI. At the end it's your call to make, I just here to suggest you!
