Yes, It is a very important criteria for Colleges. Every colleges sets it's criteria of Admission like NIT, IIT and other government colleges need 75% in 12th. Also, your 12th marks is asked by recruiters while placements.

To get admission in IIT, you need to clear JEE with a good rank. JEE is held every year in the month of January and April. You can refer to JEE's official website for more details.

In West Bengal, you will get private colleges with good placement and faculty at very low prices. Within 5 Lacs in 4 years. So its the best option.

See, Both the colleges are equally good for women but in terms of placements SRKR is better option to choose as compared to Sri Vishnu Engineering College. Also Sri Vishnu engineering college provide good placements for some branches.

That depends on your practice and capability. Not taking any coaching classes is not an issue if you understand the concept and practice problems thoroughly. You can get CS.
