For B.E./B.Tech (4-year UG programs), total tuition ranges from Rs.200,000 to 240,000 for the entire course.
The MBA (2-year) programme costs approximately 35,000 in total.
M.E./M.Tech (2-year PG) programs are about 50,000 total.
So UG is in the 2–2.4 Lacs range, PG engineering is around 50K, and MBA is just over 35K.

You cannot get direct admission to ACET's B.E./B.Tech without going through TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions)—there is no management quota or separate direct entry on merit .
Here's why:
100% of UG seats are filled via TNEA counseling, where your Class 12 PCM percentage determines rank .
ACET doesn't offer any bypass route like a management quota or NRI quota for B.Tech .
Therefore, to gain entry into ACET, you must:
1. Secure required Class 12 marks (usually ?45% PCM),
2. Register for TNEA,
3. Participate in counseling, and
4. Choose ACET based on your TNEA rank and seat availability.
No direct or management-admission route is avail

Sri Ramanujar Engineering College (SREC, Kolapakkam) is a private, self financing institution—meaning it's not run by the government.
To join their UG (B.E. / B.Tech) programs, you need to have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, obtaining at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories). Admissions are usuallydone via TNEA counselling based on 12th marks. For lateral entry for the 2nd year, candidates must have a Diploma in engineering with a minimum of 55% (50% BC/MBC, 45% SC/ST).
For PG courses, like M.E. and MBA, you also need at least a 50% aggregate in the qualifying degree, and a valid TANCET score is required.&

The B.R. Harne accepts a valid score in MHT-CET or JEE Main along with a valid 10+2 Diploma in PCM with a minimum aggregate of 45 percent (40 percent of reserved categories) to offer admission to B.E/B.Tech. Applications are filled and the processing is done by the government through the portal of Maharashtra CAP counseling. Students who made the post seat allotment accept the admission by charging fees and submitting documents. It is a system of meritocracy.
