Great campus life and placement reality of KIIT University, Bhubaneswar.
Placements: Although KIIT claims 100 percent placement, many students opt out or join mass recruiting companies, with top recruiters like Amazon, Microsoft, and Flipkart, highest packages around 50–60 LPA mostly off campus, lowest 3–4 LPA, an average of 7–8 LPA, fewer on-campus internships, and common roles such as SDE, web developer, analyst, and consultant.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of KIIT is the best you can get. High-tech classrooms, Wi-Fi and AC in hostels and classrooms, aesthetic libraries are a part of regular life. Research facilities, project opportunities, and exploration in academics have no boundaries for someone who’s eager to learn. Hostels are great, the mess food is above average depending on hostel to hostel. Mess charges are 22.5k per semester, and hostel fee is around 50,000 approximately per semester that includes Wi-Fi, AC, laundry and everything. For medical facilities, we have KIMS which is our own medical college where our checkups are free.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in general and definitely too qualified, as a lot of them are IITians and everyone’s a Ph.D. holder. Teaching quality and marks giving vary from teacher to teacher. The course curriculum is mostly relevant, but a lot of extra subjects are there for no reason, which hinders the actual studies required for placement. Semester exams aren’t that difficult if studied routinely. Everyone passes, and even if they don’t, they are made to appear again to clear backlogs. No year losses.
Other: I am in my 6th Semester B. Tech CSE. Computer Science is a vast subject with a lot of domains. I am getting to know a lot of things on technologies, and given the market, if you have skill in tech you get a nice pay. I wish the course was more placement focused, like AIML, Cybersecurity, Full Stack, SQL, Python, Cloud, which are more industry-based knowledge. We have almost 30 societies, and the fest and extracurricular scene is very strong here. We have crowd from foreign countries as well. The campus surroundings and connectivity are top class.

KIIT comprehensive review.
Placements: Almost 90 percent of students get placed. The average package is 6 LPA. The highest package was 52 LPA last year, offered by Yugabyte. A few companies that recruit from campus are Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, and Dell. Internships are offered by companies like Dell, JP Morgan, Cisco, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Classrooms, labs, and libraries are well-maintained and great places for studying. Mess food is okayish, canteen food is good, and lots of variety is available. New hostels have games rooms to play TT, chess, carrom, etc. Sports facilities are great here.
Faculty: The faculty is mostly good and helpful. They guide you if they see you're sincere. Semester exams are not that difficult, it is okay. The course curriculum is relevant, a lot of core CSE fundamentals are taught, like OOPJ, can, DBMS, and OS, which are important from a placement perspective.

Balanced choice strong placements modern infrastructure and decent.
Placements: Placements improve provided CGPA is more than 7.5 and attentiveness to aptitude. Many will be placed within IT services with a 5 to 8LPA range but some secure 12 to 20LPA roles, 40 to 50+ LPA are rare. 80 to 85 percent of eligible students receive offers per season. HighRadius Deloitte, Amazon and Yugabyte are some of the top recruiters that came for the placements this year.
Infrastructure: In CSE we have smart classrooms with air conditioning strong Wi-Fi in labs updated PCs equipped with rides and an extensive digital library. Hostel facilities are clean and offer full day Wi-Fi with quick maintenance and good security.
Faculty: Most professors are pretty qualified and helpful enough although the teaching quality can sometimes vary by course. Mentoring and access to pros are solid. The curriculum is well rounded mix of core CS classes, electives and projects. If you want to prepare for the industry be sure to add some DSA/ dev practice to your plan. The exams are moderate and you will have continuous evaluation too. The passing grade is above 50 percent or grade D.

Review for KIIT University.
Placements: Most of the students get placed by the end of their course. On average, the package is 8 LPA, with a minimum of 4 LPA and the highest being more than 60 LPA. You will be getting offers from your third year only. Here, all domains are available, such as teaching, administration, medical science, etc.
Infrastructure: You will be getting 24/7 access to the library, Wi-Fi, and labs at no cost. The menu is quite good, and the menu changes every month, so you will not be bored. There is a sports complex on every campus. You will get free medical facilities.
Faculty: You will have a great bond with the faculty members. The way they teach is just unexplainable. Some of them might be concerned about attendance, but in the end, they also give good internals. The course provided is totally relevant to current industry needs.

I am satisfied with teachers, infrastructure, and environment.
Placements: Placement percentage is approximately 83% for the overall engineering batch. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 8.5 LPA (median approximately 7.5 LPA). Top recruiting companies include High-Radius, Deloitte, Capgemini, Bosch Global Software, and Yuga-byte, among others. Internship percentage is 40–60 percent, depending on the type of internship. Top roles include Software Engineer/SDE, Data Analyst/Data Scientist, DevOps/SRE, Quality/Test Engineer, and Consultant.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs are good and updated. The hostels and food are good. Medical facilities are provided promptly. The sports facilities are great and well-supported by the college. All other research facilities are excellent, and the equipment provided is industry-ready.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. They have ample knowledge of the subjects and curriculum, which is industry-ready. The exams and tests assess real-world knowledge. Teachers help with any topics if doubts arise. The pass percentage is above average. The curriculum is maintained according to industry standards.

Exploring Growth At KIIT.
Placements: I am in 1st year, and in our batch, there are around 5000 students. Last year, there was the highest package of around 52 LPA, and the average is about 7-8 LPA. There are recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, Microsoft, etc. Companies came and top roles are provided.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are neat and clean with clean washrooms, good Wi-Fi, and smart boards, and all classrooms are fully air-conditioned. The hostel is also very good. There are AC and non-AC rooms with Wi-Fi and clean toilets. The library has AC as well.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of the teachers have a Ph.D. degree. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for the industry. The semester exams are moderate; they are not that hard, not so hard that it is.
Other: The university has a very good campus, and besides studies, there are many open-air theatres where many events happen often, and you can showcase your talent there. There are also many sports complexes and many indoor and outdoor stadiums. The placement is also good, and many hackathons and guest lectures happen frequently to build your character and for a good college life. To become industry-ready, you can come here. And you know, there is a placement training cell that helps students get trained for placements.
