Yes, both the Universities are good for engineering, but Amity University provides good quality of faculty members, good course curriculum, good placements and good infrastructure also.

Hello Sandeep,Lateral entry directly into 2nd year of Engineering in colleges in Maharashtra is based on the marks obtained in Diploma exam. Yes, one can get into a good college, private or deemed to be university, without going through the hassle of entrance exam. Management quota is exactly for such purposes. You can get admission under this quota without giving any entrance exam. Best wishes to you.
