It is difficult to get admission in computer science. As per your score, you should try for information technology, electronics engineering, electrical engineering etc.

Hello Vaishnav,
Your son has received first class in 12th. But in today's world where there are more than 10000 students with 95% and above, it's time to rethink. Why engineering? More than 50% fresh graduate engineers could not be placed. I would like to advise you that please look for some other career for your son.

The major difference between both these fields is that IT deals with the application of computing technology to real life processes, while, Computer Science deals with the Science that facilitates these applications.
