It actually depends on your rank and that year's result. The donation fee may also vary with demand and supply for each year. For computers and IT, it will be slightly higher than the other branches. Anyone cannot actually predict its exact amount as it totally depends on the people and demand for the seat. The general rule is, better your rank is, lesser you will pay as donation. Your fees varies in general from 3 to 7 lacs depending upon the branch you want. Remember that your tuition and hostel fees will be extra than this.

Currently, there are two engineering colleges only offering admission via CUSAT CAT examination. These are:
1) School of engineering, Kochi
2) College of engineering (CUCEK), Allapuzha
However, I would suggest you to go for School of Engineering because it has better infrastructure and faculty members.

For JME as per SSC, RRB and MS exam norms Mechanical engineering is considered only and eligible to apply for JME post. Mostly in these exams, specific subjects are considered as qualification.
