As your rank in NATA exam is low, so getting a government college is very difficult. Almost all government colleges are filled up with top 50,000 students. But sometimes in last round of the counselling, low rankers also get government colleges. So, you should participate in the counselling.

If that rank is in open category rank list, you may get a seat but class 12 marks also play a key role for your admissions. You must get minimum of 65% in your group subjects to get a seat in good college. But 50% in groups is mandatory. Do take care of it.

To get admission in B.Tech - Pantnagar University you need to get JEE Main AIR under 80000. Also a good score in 12th is edge over others. You can prepare well and sit for next years JEE Main. Best of Luck!
