GBPUAT Counselling 2026: Application, Admit Card, Exam, Answer Key, Result, Cutoff & Other Details

The GBPUAT Exam is held to get admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. The exam helps to estimate the knowledge of the students. The core subjects of the Pantnagar exam are Agriculture, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 

The GBPUAT Entrance exam is held by the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology GBPUAT. The exam is conducted once a year for students who want admission in UG, PG, and Doctoral courses. These courses are studied in fields like Agriculture, technology and allied sciences. 

As per last year's data, the admission process mostly starts in the first week of March. Students need to complete their application process before the end date to be able to download the GBPUAT Admit Card. The exam will be held by GBPUAT in offline mode. It is expected in June 2026. The application forms will be available from March 2026. The exam will have multiple-choice questions. The GBPUAT exam is held in offline mode. The anticipated dates for the UG and MCA exam is the first week of June 2026. The exam will be held once a year. Students must prepare for the exam as per the available time. 

The GBPUAT Cutoff 2026 is expected to be out in July 2026. Students who qualify for the Pantnagar Entrance exam need to beat the cutoff as well. Students who want to prepare for the GBPUAT Entrance Exam must know that this year Cutoff Rank for GBPUAT 2024 Exam for General Category was 1 to 1148, for OBC, SC, ST, WKR, WKM/WKP, and Other State, the cutoff rank was 1 to 1411, 1 to 1727, 1 to 2048, 1 to 2370, 1 to 2544, and 1 to 1730. Students who wanted to pursue under graduation courses must prepare for the GBPUAT Entrance Exam keeping these cutoff ranks in mind.

Here's the basic idea of  eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Fisheries Science course:

Intermediate Science with Biology or equivalent examination with First Division followed by First Division in High School or equivalent examination.
Intermediate Science with Biology or equivalent examination with atleast 50% marks in High School or equivalent examination.
For In-service candidates nominated by Fisheries Department of Uttarakhand Govt. Intermediate Science or equivalent Examination with Biology with atleast 55% marks in both High School and Intermediate examination.

You must pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Math. You need at least 50 per cent marks. There may be an age limit. Full details will be in the brochure.

You need a bachelor's degree in the related subject. You must have the minimum marks set by the university. Some courses need an entrance test and an interview. An MBA may prefer work experience, but it is not compulsory.
