Medical University of Lodz accepts a number of English language proficiency tests among international students. The most recognised ones are given below:
- TOEFL iBT: Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet-Based Test) - minimum 75 points.
- IELTS: International English Language Testing System with a minimum of 6.0 points
- CAE: Cambridge Advanced English
- CPE: Cambridge Proficiency English

Several universities in Russia offers programs to international students, where the language of instruction is in English. Among others, HSE University is the most popular Russian university offering English-taught courses. Some other universities include:

English proficiency examinations accepted by New York University
New York University recognizes several English proficiency examinations for applicants to demonstrate their language skills. The examinations accepted include Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Cambridge Assessment English, Pearson PTE Academic, and Duolingo English Test.

English Proficiency Exams Accepted by UCLA
The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) accepts the following English proficiency tests:
TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Test)
IELTS Academic
Duolingo English Test (DET)
Each of these tests has specific minimum scores that are acceptable for admission purposes. Only the most recent test score will be considered valid when an applicant has taken the test more than once.

Johns Hopkins University accepts several English proficiency tests for international applicants.
The list of these exams includes: TOEFL (100 as a minimum score in the internet-based test); IELTS (minimum of 7.0 band score); PTE Academic (at least 68); and Cambridge English (C1: score of 185 or higher or C2 Proficiency).
Furthermore, students are eligible to apply as long as they have earned a degree at an institution that uses English as the only language of instruction.
