You should check for universities in US as they are the most generous ones for giving out scholarships. Check directly with the universities for transfer because every university has its own entry requirements and transfer policies. It does not matter where you are currently studying, you must meet credit points of the program and/or the university for transfer and admissions.

Kindly, make your option clearer. Like any other skill, you get your English, by constant practice. If you want to become a part of the crew, go ahead and work for the selection. It is not that difficult. It is not tough like going in for a Ph.D.

Hi,
If you are in final year of MA in English in IGNOU then you are eligible for admission in PhD in English.
Those candidates who have completed Master's degree with above 55% marks from a recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for PhD course.
There is no age criteria for PhD course but you must have a valid UGC NET score card.

You could fill DU's common form, and then seek admission in colleges, where your marks match the cut-off. You can also keep a track of forms of other colleges as well from the month of March. Fill as many forms as you can and appear for as many entrances as you can.
