Candidates who have completed Master's degree in environmental science can find many jobs in government sector and private sector. They can get jobs in several government organizations like Pollution Control Board, Water Authority and Urban Planning. Several private organizations like refineries, distilleries, food processing industries and fertilizer plants are also offering various jobs for these graduates.

Both subjects are equally good and have their own pros and cons. One should always opt for the subject in which they hold their interest. On the successful completion of the B.Tech (Computer Science), one can look at the following profiles:
1. Software Engineer / Programmer

Hi, B.Sc. In Environmental Science is an undergraduate course wherein learning is imparted to eligible candidates in concepts such as sustainable resource development, environmental health, and ecological sustainability, among others. This is a 3-year long course. The basic eligibility criterion needed to be fulfilled for admission to the course is a Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification in the Science stream from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate score of 50% at both levels. Every college is different and hence their admission criteria also varies. You can check the same on their website.

Hello Gopinathan, A student who has Masters degree in Ecology can apply for CSIR NET Life Sciences exam, not eligible for UGC NET exam. And who has completed post graduation in Environmental Sciences is eligible for the UGC NET exam. Candidate can appear for UGC NET Environmental Science and also apply for CSIR NET Earth Sciences exam. To appear for the both exams candidates must have fulfill all the requirements of the exam.

An environmental scientist is someone trained in the technical, scientific analysis of the environment, biodiversity, climate, natural resources and the like.
