Yes, of course. In fact, it is very nice to hear from you that you are interested in the research in Environmental Science. This is the subject which is most important for the very survival of human race in this world. Graduating from IIT will definitely give you a firm Foundation from which you can seek research oriented jobs in either a government lab or some other place. You can even think of joining integrated M.Tech come Ph.D course in environmental Science where in research will be part of your grooming and your studies. Best wishes to you.

Hi,
Eligibility Criteria:
B.Sc. in Physical/Biological/ Earth and Environmental Sciences as major/ honours with minimum of 50% marks. Candidates not having major/honours must have at least 55% marks in aggregate. Or, B.Sc. (Agri.) with at least 6.0 CGPA in 10 point scale or equivalent. Or Bachelors degree in Engineering /Medicine with 55% marks or equivalent grade point.

The university conducts its own all India basis Common Entrance examination to grant admission to candidates. However, candidates must note that admission to Hons (UG) programmes is granted based on the candidates merit in the qualifying examination. The application process of IGNTU is completely online. Candidates must note that offline and postal mode of application will not be accepted by the university.

According to my knowledge none of the NITs offers B.Sc in environment Science.

You may apply any of the Central or State Universities for distance courses as they have confirmed validity of your degree. As the degree from some of the Private Universities may or may not be considered valid unless they have UGC or Distance Council approval in that specific academia years.

No, VIT as of now does not offer a B.Sc in Environmental Science under their undergraduate program.
