Yes, there is an age limit to apply for Footwear Design and Development Institute, Patna BDes course. The age limit for the Bachelor's programme shall be 25 years as on the July 1 of the admission year. Besides, aspirants must also fulfil the educational requiremens i.e. Class 12 to apply for BDes programme.

Aspirants who have passed Class 12 in any stream from any recognised board or any School or Board or University examination in India or in foreign country recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to Class 12 system can apply for Footwear Design and Development Institute, Patna BDes programme. Aspirants who have passed School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects; or All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved three-years full time Diploma after Class 10 offered by Board of Technical Education of any state or Union territory can also apply.

FDDI AIST exam application fee, payable for admission into the MDes course of FDDI Hyderabad, varies based on category. The application fee is INR 600 for General and OBC category candidates and INR 300 for SC/ST/PwD category candidates. Online payments can be made through a credit or debit card. In case of late receipt of the application, a late fee of INR 800 for General/OBC candidates and INR 400 for SC/ST/PwD candidates will be charged.
