Placements are good in our college. The legacy of the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) is enough to get good placements for all students. Placements are done in well-known MNCs and Indian companies. Some of the best pharmaceutical companies hire from ICT, so don't be too shocked when you hear names like Bayer, Pfizer, etc. coming in. The faculty of the college are highly knowledgeable. They are all scientists. Some have worked almost for 30 years in CSIR labs. They belong to India's greatest laboratory. Also, they have well established laboratories with all kind of instruments according to the projects. Faculty also helps students to find their own path of career and also help them to get joined into any industry with their reference.

Food technology can be a very promising course given you have interest in the same. You have a very rather good marks expectations in JEE. Try the official joint counselling. You might get a decent college. Biotechnology itself is rather a new subject in India. Food technology is just one part of it. Medical Biotechnology Microbiology etc are also parts of it. After B.Tech degree in food technology, very few candidates remain unemployed thanks to the booming field it is. There is government job options like food inspector or deputy food inspector. After post graduation, there are plenty of opportunities in the government and private food labs all over the country. Nutrigenomics, various food fortifications, etc. give you a vast area to act in.
