Animation calls for a wide bouquet of skills from traditional art skills to articulation skills, storytelling to aesthetic appreciation, and creativity to technical prowess. Animation and digital media careers are practical oriented and will need strong mentoring. You may enhance your knowledge, but have to learn the skills thoroughly by learning at any leading institution of your choice.
Digital media and animation related programs are offered by lot of Government Colleges and autonomous institutes.

First of all complete class 12th with computer science as subject and then go for BCA. You will learn and understand the basics of programing. You will learn making games then if you want, go for MCA. This will fetch you a good job in this field.

Though much details aren't available about the syllabus of B.S. or Diploma in game design and development, generally Diploma courses do not include in-depth details on any subject whereas degree courses like B.Sc do include those details. Therefore, on general comparison, I would suggest you to opt for B.Sc in game design and development.
I hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions, kindly revert.

Hi Suraj,
Do you plan to study in India or abroad? If you are planning to study in India then the scope of job abroad will be limited. If your ultimate aim is to work abroad then check a course abroad. If you completed your 12th look for a Bachelor's degree in game design. From a job point of view, you may check colleges in Canada or Australia or Europe, they have work permits for students, you can apply for a work permit after you complete a course and work for some years. If you are very talented and get a good job you may apply for PR but its too early to think about PR now. For now, check here
