The GATE response sheet will be released within one week of the exam's completion. Candidates can use it to evaluate the probable scores they can expect in the exam. IIT Roorkee will upload the candidate's response sheet on the website- gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

  • Visit the GATE's 2026 official website and select the application portal link

  • Log in using credentials - enrollment ID and password. 

  • The hall ticket will be displayed on the GATE GOAPS candidate's dashboard

The exam pattern and distribution of questions for test paper codes - CE, CS, EC, AE, AG, BT, CH, ME, MN, MT, EE, IN, TF, XE, PE, ST, and PI are as follows -

  • General Aptitude (GA)-  15 questions

  • Engineering Mathematics (EM) - 13 questions

  • Subject-specific questions - 72 questions 

The GATE question paper is of 100 marks total with a time duration of three hours.
