Yes, you can pursue BCA. The eligibility criteria is different for every university. So, you'll have to look for those universities which can provide you admission into BCA. Generally, minimum percentage required for admission is 45%, if you can satisfy this requirement then you can get admission. You can buy the model question papers from Makhtaba in JMI and can study any basic book which is based on geography. You can buy MA Geography entrance book of DU.

If you did class 12th regular/private, then only you can take admission for BA /B.Sc in geography. After Diploma in mechanical engineering, you are not eligible for that. You can do B.E. / B.Tech.

JB, Yes, you are eligible for CSIR UGC NET under earth Science subject. CSIR will hold the UGC NET for Junior Research Fellowship and/or Assistant Lectureship. The exam is conducted for Life Science, Earth Science, Mathematical Science, Chemical Science, and Physical Science. The eligibility criteria for the same is as under :-
