For Masters in Germany, the main thing is to have excellent academic scores, they don't ask for any additional exams besides IELTS and/or German language proficiency. Your entry will be judged by your academic record, projects, patents or publications if any, recommendation letters, personal statement etc. You may take GATE but not at all compulsory and depends on the university's admission requirements. If you feel your B.Tech/B.E scores are not so good then you can take GATE. I would suggest you check DAAD India website and also contact them for applying to German universities.

One of the few European countries to have crawled out of the Recession, Norway can boast explosive growth, low unemployment, and high wages. In general, the Universities look into your GPA, your TOEFL/IELTS Score, Your SOP and LOR's obtained. If you have Good GRE score, it improves your chances. But, it is not mandatory. Also,
