Indian students applying for long-term courses in Germany typically need an APS certificate.

Exemptions may apply for short-term courses, some private universities, PhD programs, and international degree holders. Verify requirements with your university and German embassy.

Yes, all Indian students must appear for the NEET exam and secure the qualifying marks in order to pursue MBBS in Germany. Also, you must take up the TMS exam (Test for Medical Studies) to be eligible to pursue Medicine in Germany. You can also take up individual university entrance exam to pursue higher education in Medicine in a German university.

If your university is listed as H+/- in the Anabin database, you'll need to verify if your specific degree is also listed as "entspricht" or "gleichwertig" (equivalent) in the detailed display. If not, you'll need to apply for a Statement of Comparability from the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB). Completing a one-year Bachelor's degree in India won't automatically qualify you for a German university. You'll likely need to complete a Studienkolleg, a preparatory program, or have your qualifications assessed individually.

Public universities are better if you want to save money and get more course options. But private universities give you more personal support, modern classrooms, and faster application process. Both are good in their own way.

Yes, international students can work 120 full days or 240 half days in one year. Many students do part-time jobs in cafes, shops, or even small companies. This helps in managing living cost.

Over an year, international students can work max 140 full days or 280 half days as per government regulations.
