The academic year in Germany is divided into two semesters: the winter semester from 1 October to 31 March (actual lecturing period from mid-October to mid-February, i.e. four months); the summer semester from 1 April to 30 September (lecturing from mid-April to mid-July, i.e. three months).

You can apply for September intake in Germany from early March 2025. Check the deadline of the universities you want to study in and apply at least a month before your deadline. Don't delay in replying to university emails.

It starts in September / October and ends in February / March. All the Universities in Germany offer a large number of courses for Winter Intake. For most Universities, the application deadline will fall in mid-July for Winter (September Intake).

Usually international students not immediately earn €60,000 plus entry in Germany. Fresh graduates start at €45k–55k. But if you have a strong internship or skills, you might break into mid-level pay faster.

Public universities in Germany are largely state-funded and do not require students to pay tuition fees, but only an administration fee as part of the admission process. Hence, the MBBS in Germany for Indian students fees is zero at most of the universities.

However, MBBS fees in Germany at some universities are around INR 25 L for the first year. Currently, MBBS courses are only available across public universities in Germany. Hence, international students would require an understanding of the German language to apply to the university.
