GIBS Business School accepts several national entrance tests for its PGDM admission processes such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA and GMAT. The educational institution does not have a particular cut-off score every year, as many things can vary from year to year, such as the number of applicants, the amount of seats available and the profile of applicants, apart from many things. The most recent published trends regarding cut-off scores are as follows:

The initial year of the BBA programme at GIBS Business School helps in creating a solid base in business and management education for the students and enhances their communication skills, analytical skills, and digital skills. The curriculum includes core business subjects along with language courses and practical learning experiences to train students in future business education.

During the first semester, the students are supposed to complete courses in Fundamentals in Accounting, Marketing Management, Management Innovation, Digital Fluency as well as English Language Skills, a language (Kannada/Hindi/Sanskrit), and open electives like Sports & Event Management and Sports Nutrition.
