At GIBS, industry exposure is a big part of how we learn. It's not just classroom teaching — we get to attend regular corporate talks, company visits, live projects, and internships. Many industry experts come to the campus to share their real experiences, which gives us a clear idea of how things actually work in the business world.

Even the assignments and workshops are designed around practical situations. So by the time we finish the course, we already have hands-on knowledge and confidence to handle real corporate challenges.

The student-to-faculty ratio is about 15 : 1, so for every fifteen students there is approximately one faculty member.
This ratio supports more personalized attention, better classroom interaction, and greater opportunity for each student to engage with faculty mentors.

I wish to be an integral part of GIBS Business School for its innovative and practically oriented learning environment built upon principles beyond conventional education. The focus of the institute on holistic development through programs such as Innovation, Research & Entrepreneurship (IRE), Finishing School, and so on, assures real-world business learning along with strong academics. Yeah, GIBS accepts both national-level and state-level entrance exams. You don't need to worry much — they accept scores from CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, and GMAT, plus state-level exams like KMAT and PGCET too.

So even if you haven't written CAT or any big national exam, your state-level score also works fine for admission. GIBS is quite flexible that way — they just look for students who are serious about learning and growing, not just marks.

Yes, internships and industry projects are a mandatory part of the programme at GIBS Business School. The college really focuses on giving us real industry exposure and not just classroom learning. Every student has to do an internship and take part in live projects with companies — it's part of the curriculum.

These experiences help us understand how things actually work in the corporate world. We get to apply what we learn in class, build connections, and gain practical knowledge. Honestly, this hands-on learning is one of the best things about studying at GIBS Bangalore.

At GIBS Business School, the admission process for PGDM and MBA is pretty simple. You just need to have completed your graduation in any stream with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). No need to worry if you're a fresher — work experience is not mandatory, though it's an added advantage if you have some.

You also need to have a valid score from exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, or ATMA — even if your score is average, GIBS looks at your overall personality and potential, not just marks. The college believes in giving opportunities to students who are truly passionate about learning and growing in management.

Honestly, I chose GIBS Business School because it just felt different from other colleges. The vibe here is really positive, and the campus has such a good energy. They focus a lot on practical learning and real exposure, not just classroom stuff. The faculty is super supportive, and there are so many corporate sessions and placement opportunities.

Plus, things like the IRE School and Finishing School really help you grow in confidence and skills. Overall, it felt like a place where you actually learn and enjoy at the same time — not just study for marks. That's why I went for GIBS.
