At GIBS, faculty aren't just there to lecture — they act like mentors. Students often feel they can walk into a professor's office anytime to discuss ideas, career doubts, or even personal growth. The faculty mix experience from the corporate world with teaching, so their advice is practical and usable. They push you to think critically, try new approaches in projects, and prepare for real-world business challenges, rather than just spoon-feeding theory.

If we're talking about GIBS Business School Bangalore, they don't have some super high CAT cutoff. In simple words, you don't need to be in the 99+ percentile to get considered.
- They look for a decent CAT score, usually around 70–80 percentile as a safe benchmark
- Scores are important, but they also care about your work experience, overall profile, and how you fit the program
- Even if your percentile is a bit lower, strong academics, projects, or achievements can help

Yes, for admission to Global Institute of Business Studies (GIBS Bangalore) there is usually a minimum score or rank requirement in entrance exams, but it is generally reasonable and achievable. They look at exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, or GMAT, and having a good score helps your application. This is one reason GIBS is counted among business schools with admission open in Bangalore that many students aim for.
They also consider your overall profile, academics, and performance in personal interviews, so even if your score isn't super high, you still have a fair chance if you show strong potential.

I like how GIBS Business School focuses on providing practical skills through hands-on experience and real-life business scenarios that prepare me for work after graduation. I am also impressed by their dual specialisation option, allowing me to study multiple areas of business. This is an advantage to me as it gives me a wider range of career opportunities once I complete my studies.
The school has excellent placement support, and there is a large number of companies associated with the institution who provide valuable work experience opportunities through guest lectures, internship programs, live projects and skills training.
