Candidates must have completed their 12th grade from a recognised board in any stream in order to be admitted to the BBA programme at GIBS Bangalore. A good academic record and an ability to communicate effectively will be beneficial while going through the selection process. For PGDM, students must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. The minimum eligibility for the PGDM programme at GIBS Business School is a Bachelor's degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

 Applicants must also have a valid score in entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, or State CETs. Final-year students are eligible to apply as well.

For the BBA program, candidates must have completed 10+2 in any stream from a recognised board.

Students currently appearing for their 12th exams are also eligible.
