At GIBS Bangalore, the score validity is kept simple and student-friendly.

  • CAT score: GIBS accepts the latest CAT score, which is valid for one academic year. So if you've appeared for CAT in the recent exam cycle, that score is perfectly fine for admission.

  • MAT score: MAT scores are usually valid for one year as well. GIBS accepts recent MAT attempts, whether it's Feb, May, Sep, or Dec, as long as it's from the current admission cycle.

Overall, GIBS focuses more on your overall profile and interest in management, not just when you wrote the exam. That's what makes the admission process smoother and more practical for students.

After GIBS, most of us get roles like marketing executive, sales or business development, HR executive, finance roles, analyst roles, or operations jobs. Some go into digital marketing, client handling, relationship manager, or management trainee roles too.

Basically, these are starter corporate roles where you learn real work, deal with clients, teams, and numbers, and slowly grow in your career. GIBS prepares us for these kind of practical, real-world jobs, not something too fancy or confusing.

The main programmes of the GIBS Business School, Bangalore, are designed with structured averages for student admissions to enable students to have moderate-sized admission numbers according to the school's philosophy. During campus placements at GIBS Business School, recruiters are responsible for evaluating candidates via a structured set of evaluations that include both skills and attitude.

To begin with, companies use academic grades, specialisation, internships, and resumes to assess potential candidates and narrow down their list of available candidates for the position being filled.

At the new GIBS campus, there are plenty of chill and hangout spots where students can relax between classes or after a long day. There are open lawns and green spaces where you can sit with friends, talk, or just enjoy some fresh air . There are also common seating areas and benches around the campus that make it easy to meet up and hang out.

Inside, there are informal spaces like lounges or cafeteria corners where you can grab a coffee or snack and just relax. Some spots even feel like little break zones where students naturally gather to chat, study in groups, or scroll on their phones.

GIBS has fun and relaxed places all around campu
