The main programmes of the GIBS Business School, Bangalore, are designed with structured averages for student admissions to enable students to have moderate-sized admission numbers according to the school's philosophy. Initially, there is also space available in the economy category of students BPOND, PGDIP, and BBA's areas.

At the same time, the PGDIP programme provides GIBS an annual average of about 180 new students divided into sections of approximately 60 students each, whereas the BBA programme does not have one specific requirement for the number of seats for the same student/group because it can vary between 120 to 180 based on the capacity of the school.

Thus, when combining the PGDIP and BBA intake numbers from recent years, there is a total of approximately 150 to 180 new students starting each year in BBA and approximately 180 new students entering into PGDIP, with an overall estimated student population ranging from approximately 500-700 students across both programmes within GIBS.
