The campus of Global Institute of Business Studies Bangalore is modern, clean, and built like a corporate-style business school. It is designed to give students a professional environment, not a traditional college feel.

  • When I first saw the campus, I honestly felt it would be like a normal college, but it is much more modern and well-maintained than expected
  • Classrooms are smart classrooms with projectors and digital learning setup
  • The campus has Wi-Fi, library, seminar halls, and computer labs for practical learning
  • There are many activity spaces like auditorium, amphitheatre, and group discussion rooms
  • Hostel and cafeteria facilities are

Choosing Global Institute of Business Studies Bangalore over other colleges is mainly helpful if you want a college that focuses on “how you become” more than just “what you study.

  • I chose GIBS because classes are not only lectures, they involve regular presentations and speaking activities, so you naturally become more confident over time
  • Faculty don't behave like strict classroom teachers only, they interact more like mentors and guide you personally when you are weak in communication or academics
  • From the beginning, students are pushed to participate in group discussions and stage activities, so even shy students start open

For PGDM and MBA admissions at GIBS Business School, the college is very flexible with entrance exams. They accept:

  • CAT
  • XAT
  • MAT
  • CMAT
  • ATMA
  • GMAT

Even if you don't have any of these scores, you can still get admission through their direct admission or interview process.

You don't strictly need CAT to get into GIBS Business School. They accept both CAT and MAT scores, but even if you haven't appeared for them, you can still get admission through their direct admission or interview process.

  • CAT → accepted, helps in selection

  • MAT → also accepted, gives another option

  • No exam → possible through interview or direct admission

  • Focus on communication, confidence, and overall profile

In short, GIBS is flexible. You can join even without CAT or MAT if you perform well in the selection process.

I feel the admission process at GIBS Bangalore is fairly competitive but not too tough. There isn't an official acceptance rate, but your chances mainly depend on your entrance exam score, academics, and how well you do in the group discussion and personal interview.

In simple points:

  • Admissions are based on your entrance exam score (CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, etc.), academics, and performance in GD/PI.
  • If you prepare well and perform decently, you have a fair chance of getting in.
  • It's not extremely easy, but not extremely hard either compared with top national colleges.

I feel GIBS admissions are balanced, giving serious students a good opportu
