GIBS Business School uses a student-centric structure to encourage and assist students in choosing their specializations. The initial portion of the programme provides students with core content from the major managerial faculty members of Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, and Analytics to allow them to gauge their strengths/interests before electing a specialization.

Students will receive personalized one-on-one advisory sessions from faculty members and career counselors to assist in the evaluation of skill sets, career aspirations, and how each of the competency-based management areas relates to specific market demand before selecting their specialization. Students will also have access to practical knowledge of the respective management competencies through various industry-related experiences, including guest speakers, industry interaction events, and internship placement.

The organisation will also provide students with information on industry trends and specific role-related requirements, enabling them to select respective competencies with long-term career growth and opportunity potential.

GIBS Business School's campus life has had a profound effect on my educational growth (academically, personally, and professionally). Constant exposure to industry professionals through guest speakers, projects, presentations, leaders, etc., helped build not only my confidence level but my career focus. The current student population provides exposure to many different backgrounds which opened up my mind to new ways of thinking while helping to develop my ability to work as a team and communicate effectively. The discipline of a structured learning process, my working with a mentor, and the environment of practical learning shifted my mindset from simply study the material required for an exam to preparing for the day-to-day challenges faced in the corporate world. Overall, the campus life experience has made me much more responsible, proactive, and clear in my mind about what I want to accomplish long-term.

From the beginning of their first year, GIBS Business School provides students with structured placement training so that they will be ready to work when they finish school. There are finishing school modules where students will participate in aptitude training, communication skills, and personality development. Students take part in group discussions, presentations, and practice for interviews to gain confidence and improve their interview performance.

The school conducts workshops on writing a resume, etiquette in a corporate setting, and counselling to help students understand job expectations from potential employers. Continuous guest lectures and leaders are responsible for providing students with information concerning the job placement environment they will be facing once they graduate.

Throughout their program, students will participate in internships and other ways of obtaining practical experience. The continuous and structured development of students at GIBS Business School will prepare them with the skills, confidence, and professionalism necessary to execute any level of job.

Through its combination of skills development, practical sessions, and continuous mentoring, GIBS Business School builds the confidence and professionalism of its students. Students receive communication training, personality development, aptitude programs, and corporate etiquette workshops that prepare them for presentations, body language, and how to behave in the workplace as part of their academic study.

When students participate in group discussions, practice interviews, and deliver presentations on a regular basis, they will develop confidence and have less fear of public speaking. The teaching approach at GIBS Business School is a hybrid of hands-on and academic learning, utilizing many ways to apply and experience theoretical concepts within businesses. The faculty at GIBS integrates real-world business practices with educational content through use of; case studies, live projects, internships, site visits, and regular visits from industry guest speakers. 

GIBS also incorporates; finishing-school modules/tools, communication/aptitude training sessions, and leadership workshops into their instructional curriculum, all of which are often underutilised in competitive B-schools. GIBS provides a comprehensive learning environment, as every instructor has both academic credentials, and valued industry experience. 

The overall delivery of the academic programme at GIBS is very interactive, tactical, and industry-focused; therefore, students will graduate with theoretical knowledge and practical skills that will equip them to perform in today's work places.

Workshops regularly held on topics such as effective communication, personality development and corporate etiquette reinforce students' confidence and interpersonal skills.
