First and most importantly you need to have good academics to go abroad for higher studies. Hence, I would advise you to concentrate only on studies and aim to score more than 80% in each exam.

Yes, IIMs do accept the GMAT score, but only for one year executive program.
However, all the IIMs have a different requirement for the admissions.
For example: IIM-Ahmedabad will look at a score of 700+ only and a work experience of more than 7 years. Whereas, IIM-Indore might settle for a GMAT score of 650 and work experience of 5 years
Good Luck.

The most important part is your plan. So the topics you should focus on is your preparation plan. Spend a good amount of time in designing your strategy for the exam. Like how many months you have, how many hours you can devote and also the areas you are good at and areas you need to work hard.
Just start with the road map and start preparing on the topics which are categorized as important and you are weak at. Then move to other important

If the program you are applying to requires these tests then certainly you must prepare. Considering Harvard and Oxford, remember they will evaluate your overall profile and you must be an allrounder, mere taking these tests alone won't help. Perhaps you can share your desired program of study for better guidance.

First, you should check the entry requirements, shortlist some universities in mind and then take the test or apply. There is no ideal time but you must start the process a year before the admission ,you can schedule by checking the university deadlines. Majority of the Executive MBA abroad requires more than 5 years of experience. Some well known executive MBA in the world are INSEAD, London Business School, Columbia Business School etc. Please check the requirements before applying.

Executive MBAs are for people with 10-15 years work experience, if you do without GMAT or GRE you will find a few online programs not the reputed ones.
