Hello Esh,
GMAT is after graduation and before admission for MBA. 1-year Diploma is independent of it. Also it's good to know your dream of studying in US or Canada. But these are really specialised issues and there are many nuances. I would therefore advise you to go to agency providing these services in your town.

Hello,
No, many institutes consider the GRE as an equivalent test for their admission process, although it is recommended you take GMAT to stay relevant in placements. Research shows that most of those who get in using GRE, take the GMAT while in college to appeal to potential employers

Hi Nikhil,
CAT is the short form of "Common Admission Test" and is conducted by IIMs to select the merited candidates for admission in various management courses of the Indian Institutes of Management in India. However, CAT has now become the entrance examination for several other leading institutes apart from IIMs.
On the other hand, GMAT is known as the "Graduate Management Admission Test" and is a computer adaptive standardized test in mathematics and the English language for measuring aptitude to succeed academically in graduate business studies throughout thousands of Business Schools/Universities world over.
